Community
Elk 魅影直播 Unified supports service learning and community engagement and recognizes the role of parents in developing civic values and ethical behavior in their children. To support and assist parents, the District is committed to providing strong instructional programs that help students develop civic values and good behaviors so that they will grow into responsible citizens, family members and workers. The District teaches civic values and ethics that focus on honesty, respect, responsibility and morality — key beliefs identified by parents as “common core civic values” that should be taught in school. Parents also supported the teaching of human dignity, empathy, justice, civility, courage and community. These standards are part of everyday lessons appropriate for each grade level. The District encourages community service by all students so that they learn the importance of giving back to their community. The District also has an award-winning service learning program.
