Elk 魅影直播 Unified School District (EGUSD) is committed to ensuring our schools provide each student with optimal facilities to learn, grow, and become college and 魅影直播 ready. As the 5th largest school district in California with 68 schools, we are committed to ensuring our students have the facilities, classrooms and technology to be successful throughout their time in school and beyond.
Facilities across EGUSD need ongoing, critical facility upgrades, repairs, and new construction to ensure that all students have access to optimal learning environments. This measure aims to provide modern labs, 魅影直播 tech facilities, enhanced security features, and improved infrastructure to support student success. Measure N proposes a $542 million bond to fund facilities improvements for elementary, middle and high school programs throughout the district, including ancillary and support facilities.
Fiscal Accountability
Measure N will be overseen by an independent community-based advisory board also known as the Bond Oversight Committee. Charged with monitoring the planned improvements, costs, schedule, and progress of the bonds. The Committee will issue an annual report auditing the fund collection and expenditure process. Annual performance audits will also be conducted.

What is Measure N?
Measure N is a $542 million bond to make improvements to facilities used for elementary, middle and high school programs throughout the District, including ancillary and support facilities.
How Will Measure N Benefit our Students?
Measure N will provide funding for priority projects identified in EGUSD’s
Priority projects are identified as having a high risk for disruption to classrooms and operations if not addressed, (these include legal and safety needs, critical replacements, and growth), and those that should be addressed within the next 15 years to avoid disrepair (these include curricular, instruction and program needs, and crucial life-cycle replacements)
Modernization projects completed with funding from Measure N would be eligible for state matching funds, should they be available.
Measure N will fund critical health and safety repairs such as:
- Provide modern labs and other instructional facilities
- New schools as needed to meet the demands of residential development
- Provide matching funds for modernization-eligible or grant funded projects
- Improve aging or outdated facilities and infrastructure
- Equip students so they are prepared for college
- Enhance school security and safety features
- Install clean drinking water stations
- Repair and replace aging heating, air conditioning, and electrical systems
- Repair cracked pavement and playgrounds
